Use a bar chart when comparing numeric values of different things /
groups . Use bar charts to perform ranking, for highlighting
significant differences in your comparison, or to show changes over a
period of time. This is much better
than listing the values in a table.
The bar chart element comes as an Office Component where you enter
the numeric values in a spreadsheet and it generates a bar chart of
correct proportions. You can change the values in your
presentation slides later the the bar chart will be updated on the fly!
